lyrics

I remember everything you said.
The way you squinted and you shook your head.
Made it through another lightening year,
the humid days and the razor hair.

And it's still fun to run around the old neighborhood,
even though its been run down real good.
Drive across the bridge at night,
they catch their dinner by the street light.

It still feels like yesterday.
I'll always come back in my mind.

You got me going to sleep at night,
with dreams of burnouts and fish that bite.
I'll be out on Roach Island,
all sunburnt and barely standing.

So let's go for a ride while we're young and free,
with nothing in particular we want to see.
Gonna take the rest of the day real slow.
Throwing bottles at the front doors and windows.

It still feels like yesterday.
I'll always come back in my mind.
